Audience Reviews for Hau bei tim sum (It Had to Be You!)

Off & dull. Karena Lam was regarded as one outstanding & promising actress in the last decade. I, however, somehow found her acting is so awkward- not really bad, but just feeling odd.

I guess I've been on a bit of a Ekin Cheng binge. Another cheap romance from Hong Kong. I guess it had a heart and I find these movies the kind of things you watch in a hotel room in Las Vegas while your friends are out gambling and you just want to chill out for a couple of hours. There's not much to say, girl meets boy at the restaurant they're working at. They both have relationships with people who are in relationships, and they steadily try to sway their lovers to leave their perspective lovers but to no avail. They start seeing each other as more complimentary and fall in love. Not revolutionary, but the story revolves around food and restaurants, so it's a plus if you like that kind of stuff.
