Whether it was the directors who also co-wrote "The Quiet Place," or Eli Roth's involvement, this was a slick Halloween thriller. See more 10/26/2020 Great movie! absolutely loved it. Was entertaining from start to finish but if you've seen enough horror movies, you know exactly where it's leading. Certain plot points (not to spoil anything but the FACES) were never fully explored and explained. Very entertaining to watch, but a rather middle of the road horror movie. See more 10/18/2020 This kind of did what Hellfest should have done for the Halloween Haunted House formula. I think it was a little anti-climactic at times, but at the same time, it kept you uneasy, which is what a good horror film should ultimately do. I can definitely see Eli Roth's influence in this in the gore/torture porn scenes. Good stuff, as there aren't a ton of "slashers" out there recently that are all that captivating.
