Cheaply made horror film that gets really annoying with it's slow pacing, pointless scenes, and overall bad taste. Lots of gore, stupid characters, and a below average plot. The ending was really dumb and unneeded.

Hell's Highway is an absolute disaster a film that is certainly not scary and not campy often enough to be salvageable as a guilty pleasure. Aside from a few unintentionally funny moments like bad special effects or an appearance by Ron Jeremy where he gets his penis cut off, there is nothing to talk about with this dull as dirt horror film. Despite some interesting ideas, the story is terrible, the acting is atrocious, the effects are laughable, it's slow as can be, and it's also quite boring. This should have been a fun horror film with its premise, but instead it turned into a total crapfest.

Hell's Highway is got to be one of the most "so bad it's hilarious" movies I've seen in quite some time. The so-called special effects were as good as a couple of corky high school freshmen would come up with. Lots of laughs. If you are looking for a horror to scare you, look elsewhere. But if you're looking for gore and cheese, this flick may just be the king.

There's a story of a husband and wife who got stranded in the desert, and the husband killed himself to keep his wife alive, but she died because she had no water. Now her spirit is seen hitchhiking on the road, and brings death to anyone who dares pick her up. And that's just what a group of teens do on their way from Pittsburgh to California. And they experience a trip right to the gates of hell.

To say this film was low budget would be insulting the low budget film industry. The "effects" - as they were - were simply terrible. The story was convoluted and confusing, especially the ending. And the acting...well, you can guess how good that was too.

(2001) Hell's Highway

Super low-budget straight-to-rental film from "Brain Damage" films via- camcorder has young girl hitch-hiking on the desolate desert highway for the purpose of slaughtering it's drivers to pease the devil! Then the film centers on a group of teens who of course picks up this unknown hitch hiker, only that she appears to be hard to get killed. Bad acting , very poor production values with an interesting idea should be remade again.

Yeah, this movie is really cheesy, but it is not too bad and it has a twist at the end that I actually didn't expect.

Very gory. I liked it. Good independent horror film.

"Hell's Highway" is a gory, terribly written horror with a twist: the killer who dies and comes back to life is actually a number of clones! 0 out of 10 with nudity.

Hell‚??s Highway is the best film out of all four films in the Midnight Horror Collection featuring four films made independently, available at Wal-Mart. The first one is Sheltered and film drags on way too long even though it‚??s only 87 minutes. The ending was pretty dumb. The Craving and Feeding Grounds are uber crap and make very bad Hollywood films look mediocre or okay films. The last one is Hell‚??s Highway and this film is fine example of schlock that would be cubic zirconium in pile of dung heap. The film features a group of friends traveling to Redondo Beach until they pick up an evil hitchhiker in the form of a woman (Phoebe Dollar). You can tell by Dollar‚??s large lips that she is evil. There are attempts of gore here that‚??s obviously cheap and humorous along with an ill conceived explanation that made me laugh hard. Yes, there are a lot of goof ups and mistakes, but over time it gets boring and that can be a negative. If I didn‚??t know any better, I might say this film was made by a porno company and not to mention Ron Jeremy‚??s cameo.

I‚??m quite confused that it‚??s a movie or a homemade video. Bullshit crap‚?¶

The pager scene is quite possibly one of the greatest "no point" part of a cheese horror flick to date.

Above average no-budget horror flick from the not-always-good-but-always-interesting Jeff Leroy. The gorgeous Phoebe Dollar is the star, with Ron Jeremy making a hilarious cameo. A crazy twist at the end, too!

Ok, once again, this is one of Brain Damage's biggest sellers. This is definetly a movie for those who like the low budget B-flix genre. This is a blood soaked movie from beginning to end. Not only does it have some one the best killing senquences, it also holds the best "Get Busy" lines in any movie. And not to mention to people drinking beer while "getting busy." If you enjoyed this movie, i also recommend Terror Toons, Death Factory, Carnage, Hollywood Vampyr, and Goth.
