Audience Reviews for Here Come the Waves

Bing Crosby plays a crooner (!) and Betty Hutton plays twins in this energetic WWII musical; songs include "Let's Take the Long Way Home" and the Oscar-nominated "Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive."

This movie may remind you of White Christmas when you read about it, but it's slightly different, and it's a good, funny movie. Of course the romance in the movie is predictable, but I say watch this for the comedy, and for Crosby.

Betty Hutton and Bing Crosby are terrific in this wartime comedy musical. It's lightweight entertainment and highly enjoyable. Peppy songs, fun performances.
