While the movie moves on a very predictable pattern, a midpoint revelation changes things, although too quickly. Still, this is a very enjoyable movie, and I liked the acting even when I switched to the English-dubbed version.

Here the Whole Time is an absolute triumph from start to finish! The writing is exceptionally sharp, weaving a compelling narrative that keeps you engaged throughout, and the acting is nothing short of excellent. The two leads are completely amazing, sharing a chemistry that grounds the emotional heart of the story. But what really made the movie extra special for me was Ciao’s best friend—she brought so much warmth and humor to the screen, and she completely reminded me of my own best friend in the best way possible. If you are looking for a well-crafted, beautifully acted film with a lot of heart, this is a must-watch!
