Henry R @xanadu2300 1d Hexed is one of those overlooked comedies that never got the appreciation it deserved. It’s packed with sharp, tongue-in-cheek humor and some genuinely great lines that still land. One of my favorite moments comes from Det. Ferguson (played by Full Metal Jacket’s R. Lee Ermey), who, while questioning a witness, remarks that he has all night to wait because "I’m divorced and have no charisma." It’s a perfect example of the film’s dry, self-aware wit. This isn’t a laugh-every-second kind of movie—it’s smarter than that. It’s packed with satire and subtle jokes that sneak up on you or hit later, making it even better on a rewatch. If you’re into clever, slightly offbeat comedies with a classic screwball vibe reminiscent of the comedies of the 30’s and 40’s, Hexed is absolutely worth your time.
