  • What follows is like James Cameron's The Terminator, only with an invisible assassin substituted for a time-travel cyborg.

  • 90% of the time, these cheapie sequels are never a good idea, not even a fair idea, but at least it gives people like Marc Ostrick a job among many jobs.

  • Continuao dispensvel, elenco inexpressivo, roteiro previsvel e repleto de clichs e alguns bons efeitos visuais. ... preciso dizer mais alguma coisa?

  • ...this is about as needless and pointless a sequel as they come.

  • Essentially a goofy little matinee flick for the FX geeks and the schlock-obsessed sequel-lovers, HM2 isn't nearly as bad as it could have been ... but it's pretty darn disposable all the same.

Hollow Man II takes it a different way, which is fine, different's not just good, in this case, I think it's necessary. But the biggest difference between Hollowman #1 and #2, is that #2 is boring. I don't ask that it have the same intrigue as the first, just that it have any. Anything to take it beyond "There is a man and he's invisible and he's bad and the protagonist is not".

This low rent direct-to-video sequel is a borderline squatter with the thing most invisible are the absent special effects. With a 10th of the budget of the first movie, actors are forced to embarrassingly throw themselves around to simulate an invisible assailant. Not a whole lot of action and even less T&A to keep anyone interested. Top-billed Christian Slater also disappears from view with only two brief filmed scenes, the rest of the time we only hear his voice. Fittingly, the whole experience vanishes from memory only a couple hours after having seen it.

The first Hollow Man movie was awesome! This sequel may be completely pointless but has enough merits to be an enjoyable one too. Things all move along at a good pace with some effective suspense and pretty decent special effects. But it's just a scaled down rehash of the first film plot-wise and doesn't do anything new with the invisibility gimmick. Good fun though.

    Another "okay" type of movie.
