Movie Info

In this comedy, Jerry Lewis plays a husband and father who learns from his trusted doctor that he only has a few months left to live and so, on the advice of his devoted wife, decides to spend his remaining life fulfilling his dream of fishing the world over. Unfortunately, Lewis and family are not wealthy. Fortunately he has the next best thing: credit cards. He goes off on his trip and racks up over $100,000 in debts before the doctor manages to find him in Lisbon to give him the good news: Lewis is not going to die after all. That would be good for the hapless fisherman had he not incurred those debts. Fortunately, his doctor has an ingenious plan to help him escape the debts and (unbeknownst to Lewis allow the doctor to run off with Lewis' wife).
