Jesus Christ Sugar... The Horsegirls marketing synopsis did not prepare me for that movie! It was emotionally riveting, we had a bunch of group cry's as the story progressed... Bless you for taking on that project, turning what would be considered "outsider" content, into an accessible experience! Much respect, Indy filmmaking at its best, you're the King Brawh!

Story somewhat confusing because she stops rehearsals but still competes later. Also competing just hours after her mom died is bizarre. Otherwise a touching story which both mom & daughter come of age.

My review of horsegirls on IMDB (The movie I saw yesterday that is my new favorite movie): This movie is my new favorite movie, and I don't say that lightly. It is the perfect combination of comedy, tragedy, heart, inspiration, cinematic storytelling, and authenticity. I enjoyed every second of it. I cried four times, but in a good way somehow. I will be recommending this to everyone I know. This movie has impacted me in a way I will never forget. It is rare for a lead character to be Autistic, yet presented in a positive light without their Autism being the center of the story. Equally rare is the accurate representation of girls on the Spectrum. I truly believe that if enough people watched it, not only would they enjoy it, but the way that Autism is viewed would change for the better.
