I liked John Candy and caught this after he died on Fox 32. Geez, did it suck. I feel bad that a comedy legend like Candy left the planet with a load of stinkers. At least we have some of his classic work.

Just picked up from ebay. Wanted to watch something with John Candy that I haven't seen. He is only in it for a few scenes. I think the one thing this is really neat. You get to see the world thru Candy's eyes. clothes, cars, tech, ect. The writing is good. If your a second City fan, then you will like this movie. I got a VHS that is hard to watch. A lot of flickering. I would get a DVD if you can find it. George Wendt is always great. A true actor.

[img][/img]My wife picked this movie up at the public library. It was worth about what she paid, as long as it gets back on time, i.e. no late fee. It was slow getting started. The setup with the nagging wife took forever. The father-in-law was lame and had bad make-up. With George Wendt and John Candy, I was hoping it would get better. It finally did, but it was not soon enough. There were some funny, albeit predictable, scenes, but I would never watch it again. My wife thought it was pretty lame as well, so it will never be back in our house again.[img][/img]
