Audience Reviews for Humains

Not the best of France's recent horror ventures by a long way. Mediocre sums this one up, others have been more harsh with their criticisms however. Moves along too slow, no gore, no scares, no originallity, but I thought the last 25 minutes were decent enough to be fair.

"Humains" is a French horror film about neanderthals who reside in the Swiss Alps. Upon hearing the rumors, a team of scientist who bring along a group of tourist(For some reason) go to the Alps to investigate. Upon arriving the area, they are left stranded in the forest of the Alps after a car crash. Now the group must survive the aggressive attacks of the neanderthals and those who protect them. Wow, where do I begin? Well first of all, the movie itself is bad for poor pacing and having every character have sudden change of personalities all through out the movies, especially the people who protect the neanderthals: One minute they care about them, the next they are beating the neanderthals to death. Worst of all, most of the time the characters are assholes: In the beginning, a character's leg breaks and his father doesn't seem to care about his predicament, even more so that the father brings him along to the trip to the Alps. Overall, this movie is a waste of time for failing to tell the story of it's simple premise, failing to make the audience care about the characters, and for not making much sense. Luckily, this movie is barely watchable for its unintentional funny moments. But seriously, skip it. -NOTE: First Review of this movie on this site for both critic and user.-

The cinematography is stunning aside that everything else is worthless and bad. As a French movie you might expect a lot of gore and violence at least... but guess what? It doesn't delivers any gore nor suspense. Boring piece of French cinema. It is as bad as "Vinyan" and as disappointing as "Mutants". My advice is to avoid it>>>>>>
