Movie Info

An irresponsible mob henchman looking to pull in a little extra cash on the side finds the noose around his next tightening with each careless misstep in directors Jose and Eduardo Quiroz's violent meditation on loyalty and punishment in the world of high crime. When Tony (Jose Rosete) foolishly goes behind his boss Dominic (Victor Zaragoza)'s back in order to increase his profit margin by selling drugs on the street, his close ties with a dirty cop finds the disloyal criminal digging his own shallow grave. As his boss begins to grow increasingly suspicious and his partner Daniel (David Peterson) turns viciously against him, Tony must elude both the cops and the criminals as he navigates the claustrophobic streets in a desperate bid to escape his grim fate.

Audience Reviews for Illegal Business

Incredibly bad film, laughable bad. The acting is so amateurish, the direction is a joke. Horrible score, cheaply filmed. Absolutely a dreadful piece of crap. But then again, there are some songs that are destined to become great hits: "How to Be a Dope Dealer" and "14 Ways to Kill You. " Now if those two don't make the top 10, perhaps "I Fucking Hate You to Death You Sonofabitch Part Two", "99 Lincoln Navigator" or "Hustlers Make the World Go Around" will. This film should be used to teach filmmaker students on what NOT to do.
