Hilariously bad early 1990s made-for-television erotic thriller about mentally ill Heather Locklear returning home to her husband, Robert Carradine, and then getting a visit from his sister, Emma Samms. Locklear then begins to suspect Carradine and Samms are plotting against her, but are they really or is it her mental illness? I suppose this is a plot that's been done well in the past, but the low budget dream sequences here are just laughably bad as is just about everything else. This was definitely a so-bad-it's-good kind of film. The film also features Ned Beatty as a folksy handyman. Worse than your average Shanon Tweed/Andrew Stevens erotic thriller (and that's saying something), but definitely worth checking out for fans of bad cinema.

Locklear actually gives a memorable performance.

Could have been a lot better.

Although shot quite well and with a script that's well-adapted from the source play, the editing and music could have been much better, and the film could have gone without the often intrusive narration. Still, it remains a well-acted and intense thriller with some genuine suspense and a haunting atmosphere, reminiscent of a music video.
