What I had hoped was going to at least be a phone scroll worthy background flick ended up being an overly drawn out time suck. This could have easily been a short film. If you like endless hallways, lots of noise, and a plot like Swiss cheese then this movie has you covered. I really wanted to like this movie but it went nowhere. The premise and twist did little to make up for the execution. Over the top and at times terrible acting sheds further light on this amateur production. The found footage aspect is so overplayed these days with too few of filmmakers trying something different. Don't waste your time on this one! The start was slow and showed initial promise with the setting of an abandoned mental institution, however the actual setting was barely utilised to what you’d expect from a found footage horror movie. Without mentioning spoilers, the film is basically a suspense and walking simulator, but the suspense leads to nothing throughout the entire movie. If you asked me to summarise the plot without getting too far into it, it would be a young man gets a job as a security guard on the night shift at a mental asylum and walks around a lot, gets creeped out by the obvious tropes of this type of movie and then gets suplexed by a limp arm mannequin and the remains of Ozzy Osborne if he had blonde hair. If you genuinely want to watch this movie, do so with a video of subway surfers on in the background. I’ve had more entertaining and engaging wiping sessions after an Indian than this "movie".
