This movie is a prototype of those types of movies. Shoddy, unintelligent direction, awkward screen play, very few genuine laughs. Acting by Manoj Bajpai is good, most others are mediocre. Mostly the movie is bad because the director doesn’t quite understand how to do a comedy movie. He veers between serious situations and awkward, supposedly humorous situations. Result is a joyless, BORING mess of a movie. Nevertheless, I feel that this presentation was inappropriate, especially since it is based on the true story of Inspector Madhukar Zende, a subject that I don't think has ever been explored before. The creators seemed to try to blend various genres, resulting in a somewhat disorganized, lengthy, and at times boring narrative. While the cast performed well, I wouldn’t say this is the worst film I’ve seen. However, it clearly had greater potential.
