Interesting experiment, and conversations, but not enough to make it feel like a film. It's more like an episode of some tv new/culture show.
James Franco decides to take a journey into a not-so-dark and evil place with a right motive. Why isn't gay sex (or at the very least PG-13/Rated R gay sex) in the mainstream media. He says mid-film conversation with uncomfortable and horrified down to the soul of being in a overly sexualized docu-film/ "Porno" Val Lauren. Ultimately Interior. Leather Bar is random and half-baked with no real message, other's than Franco's will to do it. That being said his take on social norms and other societal issues are rather on point.
An "art for art's sake" project. But when all is said and what was the point James?
good concept loses some in execution.
A movie about Franco's provocative vision and points nobody actually cares about! I don't believe that ppl are separated by the kind of sex they are having. The world is much different now and ppl are very open minded, so Franco was late... Years ago it would have been a shocking movie.
Más que crear 40 minutos perdidos es la oportunidad de conocer algo del pensamiento de Franco
James Franco set out to tell a story through a taboo medium. Yah, I don't think your story was told, buddy. Sorry :( That was just odd and all over the place.
Una exploración acerca de la libertad creativa y sus límites... También una reflexión acerca de la homonormatividad reinante... Recomendada.
An attempt to relive the lost footage turned out to be an attempt to be a failure. It succeeded though.
The main point was sexual freedom, and only two minutes of conversation in the film made it worth watching.
Franco's name sold the movie--regrettably.
Utterly pointless, pretentious and stupid.
