  • The early scenes give the film the impetus of a mystery, or even perhaps a psychological thriller, but there are a couple of gear changes that take it eventually into soap opera territory.

  • Although the twist ending surprised me, it makes perfect sense. But why this excellent thriller went straight to DVD makes no sense at all.

  • Suspense psicológico rasteiro que, apesar da boa atuação de Sarandon, se perde irremediavelmente em seu ato final, quando abandona qualquer pretensão de inteligência e se entrega ao absurdo.

The cast is reminiscent of an A-list thriller. The actual plot is reminiscent of a Lifetime original movie with a hint of Fatal Attraction.

Susan Sarandon is an artist and book illustrator married to Craig (Sam Neill), a successful architect, and has two beautiful young daughters. Plagued by artist's block, Sophie is also struggling to cope with the grief and sorrow of losing her mother who recently passed away. Already emotionally unsettled, Sophie notices things going missing and other strange things happening in her home. Eventually, she begins to suspect that Mara (Emily Blunt), the beautiful and seductive new comer at Craig's office, is breaking into her home and playing some sort of sinister game with Sophie's family. Her sanity is quickly being put into question as nobody believes on her and she begins to stalk Mara, in the hopes of proving that she is right. The ending's "big twist" (after a previous twist), was slightly confusing, too brief and un-dramatic, and by then, who in the hell cares anyway?

Sam Neil, Emily Blunt and Susan Sarandon: A brilliant cast but not such a brilliant movie! i mean yes you were getting twists and surprises right till the end but not great, its a bit dragged out and long winded that it just gets a bit boring, i like the concept of the story its pretty good but not a suspense thrilller that i liked could have been done better! Sam Neil looked Hot!!
