When Angel (Raquel Orendain Sthrestha) and Marxie (Cari Flowers) go on a remote mountain-climbing trip in the deep wilderness, they befriend KC (Trevor Gatabaki). After bonding over psychedelic drugs, they decide to travel together and climb their first mountain of the expedition, struggling their way to the top. While climbing more peaks, seeing a mysterious man in the woods, and learning about everyone's tangled crushes on each other and KC's lies and troubled past, the expedition is thrown into turmoil. In this first feature from writer/director Jim Kade, coming of age meets adventure and unparalleled beauty. A simple and minimalistic character study of three Gen-Zers as they explore philosophy, trauma, and mental health against a stunning backdrop in story that twists and unfolds in a natural and shocking way. Filmed at 12,000 feet from a remote campsite, miles up in the mountains, powered off of solar panels, this is truly a unique and stand-alone project.
