Troma at its best, The Janitor follows a devoted custodian who loses it because the of the jerks he has to encounter on a daily basis and becomes a serial killer. Funny, idiotic, and twisted as hell, The Janitor will keep the fan of depraved cinema laughing and entertained throughout with its almost perfect (if idiotic) blend of humor and gore.
This was actually quite funny at times.
See this film everyone, my buddy Andy Signore rocks it!
Classic B Movie Gore-Laden Troma-esque junk.
Thats a compliment.
This is a B horror flick in the old tradition. It has lots of fake blood and bad effects. Classic horror comedy with no budget. Perfect flick for a group of buddies and a bigger groups of beers.
The movie was pretty bad but it was supposed to be. It was a Troma like movie. I like Troma movies so this one really impressed me. Lloyd Kaufman makes an appearance as a homeless man. Having two janitors living in a janitor's closet is just funny. The special effects were so horrible that they were funny. There were also several gross out scenes but not as many or as bad as Citizen Toxie. That is a good thing. A little slow at times but it makes up for it towards the end. The sorority house scene alone made this movie worth watching. If you like Troma movies then give this movie a shot.
I had a blast with this. It has everything a bad horror/comedy needs. Gore, nudity, a cool killer, amusing dialogue and lots of sorority girls. Overal, The Janitor maybe lacked suspense and tension, but it was always meant to be a comedy and it succeeded in being that. The death scenes are even funny! (you gotta see the death with a Plunger!! haha, it's almost as funny as the death by 69 in Gutterballs. lol.).
Best enjoyed with a bunch of mates, but works just as well alone on a rainy night or something.
Hands down, one of the greatest b movies ever. This is really the way low budget horror movies were supposed to be made. The acting is so campy, it'll make you cry from laughing so hard. And the gore is truly amazing, reminiscent of Peter Jackson's "Dead Alive" and Lloyd Kaufman's "Toxic Avenger". Lloyd Kaufman also has a cameo in this film, which is the coolest shit ever. So if you like great gore, dark humor, camp, and naked girls pillow fighting, then this movie is for you. It really doesn't get any better.
Ahhhh-mazing movie!! ;)
In the right state of mind, this is absolutely hilarious. Think Troma where more of the jokes actually work. Some amazing one liners... and horror/comedy fan needs to seek this out, it's the height of silly. Run, don't mop! (heh)
