There are brief moments where the film is self-aware and while it's got a certain campy appeal, overall there's some really bad pacing and the special FX are bad and...not a lot of good acting in this movie.

Whatever they paid Canadian horror auteur David Cronenberg to appear in this godforsaken mess, it wasn't enough.
