½

The sixth in the series. Seeing them in chronological order (as I am) is helpful, I think. The plots are not exactly Swiss watches of complexity, but they are very satisfying, well-told, and nicely acted and directed.

This movie series remains one of the finest crime dramas on TV. Selleck was born for this role. Don't know how many more there might be since Robert B. Parker has passed and Selleck has a hit series in Blue Bloods. The characters are like old friends, and the show, while not flashy, always has enough meat to hold your attention. Great stuff you should be watching.

The latest (so far) in this series finds Chief Stone - still suspended by the town council - helping out with a string of murders in Boston while still hanging around Paradise while the two remaining deputies try and solve a series of convenience store robberies in the area. Still an excellent series after several years.
