Audience Reviews for John Pinette - I'm Starvin'

A little bit of that "angry comedy" you get with Lewis Black. He shouts a lot, etc and touches on food a lot, but I just guess that goes along with the theme of this special. It's funny anyway. The best part? It's not crude.

:D Netflix [img][/img] My Review: I had never heard of John Pinette until I heard him on Sirius radio. He had me rolling on the floor. I actually watched John Pinette-I Say Nay Nay, but couldn't find it on the list. I love fat jokes, and he delivers them perfectly. His whimpy demeanor and tone of voice is the perfect backdrop of his hysterical bits. My favs: The Chinese buffet and the water slide. If you liked Louie Anderson's stand-up comedy, you'll likely enjoy Mr. Pinette as well. SYNOPSIS: Almost everyone in the civilized world has seen John Pinette at least once: he was the massively overweight victim whose car was stolen by thugs on the last episode of SEINFELD as Jerry, Kramer, George, and Elaine videotaped the mugging from across the street, laughing derisively at the hapless man's plight. Here Pinette--the American Comedy Awards 1999 choice as Standup Comedian of the Year--offers a much closer look at himself via his standup comedy routine, recorded in August 2004 at the Tempe Improv in Arizona
