130511: Quite a good film. The last 20 minutes is nothing but gunfight action and violence, some of it unexpected. Though Johnny Yuma is the hero, he gets really close to villainy at times. His wrath is felt Samantha and Thomas Felton, one of who fares better than the other, though neither fares well thanks to LJ Carradine. Unique conclusion. On a side note, what's with the pistol that shoots from the detachable holster? Along with that classic music and sound effects, it seems gimmicks always play a part in spaghetti's. This is one of the better ones I've seen as of late.

Western gunman fights for his Uncle's inheritance against his widow, who arranged his Uncle's killing. Rosalbal Neri shows well as the conniving aunt with aspirations of inheriting the fortune. Too bad Johnny Cash's song "Johnny Yuma" was not included.

Like most spaghetti westerns you learn revenge is never easy.

Entertaining tongue-in-cheek spaghetti western tells a decent story with style and energy. Not among the very best, the tonal shift from comedy to (surprisingly graphic) violence can be awkward at times, but fans of the genre will appreciate it.

Very good Spaghetti Western. It has everything you could want: rivals who don't want to be, villains who are despicable, comic relief that is funny, 6 shooters that never need reloading, bad guys who can't find their mark, heroes who always find theirs. All these things wrapped around a pretty good story and some amazing performances by Mark Damon (who plays Yuma) and Lawrence Dobkin.
