Matsushima may spend most, even all, of her time on the outside, but here the whole world has been converted into a penitentiary, and any escape is either short-lived or illusory.

Audience Reviews for Joshuu sasori: Kemono-beya (Female Prisoner Scorpion: Beast Stable)

The majority of this film is merely alright with some fine moments sprinkled throughout (running around handcuffed to an arm and the abortion & murder of the doctor are noteworthy scenes). The ending is reeeeally good though. Everything happens with the right amount of humor, tension, irony and pace. So, while the majority of this film teeters between 2 1/2 to 3 stars, the ending places it at a solid 3.

Nothing mind blowing in terms of writing or acting, but the direction, and cinematographic work is awesome. Lots of great stylized work, weird angles, interesting camera movement, and of course, some great lighting moments. In terms of plot, this, the third entry in the Female Prisoner #701 series, isn't really anything special. Matsu is still getting revenge here and there, killing yakuzas and cops alike if they get in her way. Still loads of sexy, over the top fun.
