Audience Reviews for Ju ma pao (Return of the Kung Fu Dragon)

The impossible-to-follow plot of this Taiwanese movie concerns dueling wizards and a princess returning to reclaim the throne of her island kingdom from an evil emperor. Non stop kung fu battles, dozens of strange characters, and bizarre camerawork make this a disorienting experience that should appeal to gonzo martial arts fans, but if you want a plot that makes sense stay far away.

Badly dubbed Kung Fu movie. Cheap special effects for the magician. Some obvious wire work allows characters to make super leaps and flips instead of relying on real martial arts skills. The story is a mess. All I really remember are some strangely surreal, fog covered fantasy sequences that did nothing to improve the movie.
