Another entertaining tale for the whole family from Mark S. Waters, this time a fantasy romance.

Reese is awesome and so is Mark, but this film is a giant unexplained joke.

Just Like Heaven is ethereal, romantic and refreshing. The viewer is given the opportunity to view life from a spiritual perspective and consider alternate possibilities. The movie offers just the right amount of sweetness, humor and romance.

As far as chick flicks go, this one is pretty enjoyable. Very cheesy, but fun.

Such a sweet movie. Don't usually get into romance but this was good.

A fairly run of the mill rom-com, if that's what you can call it, but its quite sweet. The two leads have fairly good chemistry. It not much of an acting stretch for either of them but it has its moments. John Heder is amusing and Mark Ruffalo is adorable!

How much you like this film depends on how much you like Reece Witherspoon. Her character can be quite annoying here but I suppose that's the point. You grow to like her as Ruffalo does. The film plays a little like 'Ghost Town' and 'Cardiac Arrest' but will a little twist this time as the two souls are obviously destined to fall in love. The whole thing is very sweet and Ruffalo and Witherspoon make a nice couple. If you want a sweet romantic comedy you'll probably like this. However it may be a bit sickly for some.

a fun romantic comedy. I thought it would be depressing but it was just fun

Just Like Heaven doesn't even reach half of the standards of the similar movie Ghost despite that Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo give their best making the film worth watching.

Ruffalo is decent, Witherspoon is funny, and there's a decent premise. However, a stale script, boring cinematography and a lack of chemistry bog down what should have been a home run.

A rom-com version of Ghost.

One of my favorite romantic comedies for more reasons than one. Firstly, I like how it leans more on the 'romance' rather than 'comedy'; it gives the film a more mature and subdued feel to it. Secondly, the film manages to avoid a lot of the usual cliches; both the characters and the plot's execution feel sincere. Thirdly, "Heaven" is able to work pathos and emotion into the story without coming off as mushy. Finally, the chemistry between the two leads is really beliveable; it's easy to be invested in and root for their relationship. I guess what I'm trying to say is that "Just Like Heaven" is both down-to-earth and dreamy; it offers the best of both worlds.

"Just Like Heaven" is basically your typical romantic comedy with a supernatural twist but there are enough good things to elevate it above "just average". The movie is about a man named David (Mark Ruffalo) who sees the ghost of a sexy Reese Witherspoon (she plays a Dr. Elizabeth) who is haunting his apartment. The two of them don't get along, they argue a lot but their constant bickering makes you think that they might just fall in love by the time the credits roll.
Some flaws of the movie include the fact that the movie is pretty predictable because it follows the same arc as every other fluffy romantic comedy you can find out there, despite the element of the ghost being thrown in there. It's also incredibly irritating to watch a movie where the male lead has never, ever seen any movies in his entire life. How else do you explain the fact that David is constantly talking to an invisible woman and making himself look like he's a crazy person? At least pretend like you
