Didn't love it, but it was an interesting take on the Justice League.

Solid adaptation of a 6-part comic book set during the late fifties, featuring Justice League members who not only must come to terms with their disenchantment of the US government's paranoid anti-communist persecutions, but must also save the world from an ancient threat that awakens to destroy it in the wake of the nuclear age. Comic book fans will love seeing retro versions of their favourite heroes (Green Lantern in particular is well presented) in a sprawling, adventure packed yarn that tantalizes with it's historical references and stylized design - although the animation, as usual with many of these straight-to-dvd Warner Bros. comic adaptations, errs on the side of minimalistic.

A well cast sort of Watchmen for the DC universe. The film has a lot of potential that is never realized due to a stupid 2nd act and forgettable villains. It seems like every dc character ever is just thrown into the fray without thought or reason for them being there.

This feature IS the comic book limited series in motion. From the color pallette to the Cold War setting, everything goes right. With the appearance of each (truly) iconic member, you eagerly await the next. For better or worse, depending on your preference, this is not a Superman-Batman-Wonder Woman centric film. Each member is spotlit and well characterized.
It will take your grandparents back to the beginning of DC's universe while taking the rest of us for a fun Earthbound adventure.
Now, if they would only follow it with a sequel that has the sidekicks involved!

This is not the justice league as you know it. This is a story based on how the DC universe was 60 years ago. Hence, all the characters look like their old selves. The story is OK, not great. The scene between Martian Manhunter and Batman about the match and the rock is great. If you like OLD school DC, you will like this.

Very enjoyable. Nice animation and story.

A pretty good first half meanders off till all there's left is to tie up a couple of loose strings and end it quickly. Excellent source material (and vintage costumes that would make any posters worthy to frame) could have easily been made into two movies. Instead, several early scenes are too brief and towards the end the plot just seems lost. With one more hero making an entrance in the final minute - and I didn't notice any foreshadowing of him either.

Too ambitious for a simple movie, but still worth a watch.

The only reason this gets a 4/5 is because I wanted more! I felt like they made Superman a wuss. But, all in all it was VERY good. I loved Batman. I would've loved Kevin Conroy as the Caped Crusader, but ya know.

finally managed to get to see this after 7 yrs and it was worth the wait. Its well voiced, and a good story. Its difficult to juggle such a large cast of characters but JL:NF does it well. The animation style works too, capturing the feel of the era its set in.

took a very long time for the stoey to get rolling, but the ending battle was well worth it

This was ok. We have the start of the Super Power Registration Act (which they did in the Marvel universe as well). Flash and the Martian quit because of it.)

Lo mejor de la película es que Aquaman no sale más de 1 minuto.

I own this on DVD and Blu-Ray.

An ok story but needed flashing out a lot better. Animation style is 1940's and is a nice addition.

Definitely missing Kevin Conroy as Batman, but it does have NPH as the Flash! But otherwise, it's a pretty good origin story - pretty interesting setting it in the '50s! Superman doesn't have much do do and instead it focuses on Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern & the Flash, which is a refreshing take. The enemy is a bit simple and too reminiscent of 'Independence Day', and it's a bit short at 70min, but otherwise well done!
