10/10/2008 Omirbaev's style is very similar to Bresson's, as evidenced by its extremely economical and precise narrative, inexpressive acting, and use of off screen sound. It also reminds me of Olmi in terms of how the film incorporates the protagonist's dreams and attention to minute details of consciousness. The story is about a young man who gets caught wrongly for cheating and has to wait for the next one, while he meets a young woman and tries to get into a relationship with her, only to lose touch with her.
