Karen can only pat itself on the back for making a movie about the tyranny of a Karen, but it doesn't bring any critical thinking to its own conversation. Go to Full Review

"Karen" is a fictional tale about one of the worst people on the planet, and it's also one of the worst movies of 2021. Go to Full Review

From the title to nearly every narrative beat, writer-director Coke Daniels' satirical thriller offers little in the way of incisive social commentary or thrills. Go to Full Review

You can’t miss its bludgeoning message which is nailed into every scene. You also can’t miss the complete lack of inspired storytelling, the astonishingly bad dialogue, or characters so poorly conceived that it’s impossible to connect with them. Go to Full Review

Karen is a kitschy representation of a very real threat: White women who are aware of their Whiteness and weaponize it. Go to Full Review

Darryl H @RT47384038 6 days ago What a horrible movie, the acting was so bad. I had to take an excedrin to watch it. The couple use the word babe in every conversation they had, it was babe this, and babe that. The scene where he helps her with her car was so damn dumb, if he knew she was racist and she was touch him in a way he didn't like, why would he go into her hous and risk her saying he raped her. The writers pf this should be shot and kicked out the movie business. See more Karen H @Boomer57 Oct 17, 2026 Brainless and offensive. Just stop this disgusting stupidity of pushing this idea that all women named Karen are racist. It is no truer than assuming all women named Shaniqua are violent thugs. See more Mariam S @mariamsofia Sep 16, 2026 The subject of this film is extremely important, especially in the current political climate. So, points just for choosing such an important topic! Unfortunately, the execution felt rather clumsy, and the acting wasn’t very convincing either. I would love to see more films exploring this subject, but with a bigger budget and stronger execution. I did enjoy the ending, though. It was satisfying to see the bad guy get what they deserved, something that, sadly, doesn’t always happen in real life. See more Erica R @RT24678603 Jul 20, 2026 Was this movie meant to shine light on how black people are treated? If you are hoping to see black people being empowered in this film think again. You will feel how you feel when you see the news reporting of an incident that happens commonly. Is this meant to rage bait and insult a group of people? If you don’t care about this topic and just want some entertainment maybe this will do it for you. See more Bo B @Bbois Apr 26, 2026 Story, acting, and visually good and interesting, but script and edit are HORRRIBLEEE!! See more Jen Z @Jenz324 Jan 13, 2026 The concept was good but the acting was so bad which made it so entertaining. It seemed rushed and sloppy. This could have been a great movie. I apologize for the negative review, something had to be said! See more Read all reviews
