Critic Review - Birmingham Post

Against all of the odds in a business that is potentially so ephemeral, dangerously shallow, nihilistic and sycophantic, Part of Me is, in its own little way, one of the films of the year.

If any of you have watched the movie, you've probably realized she is a really tenacious, inspiring caring woman with a great sense of humor and a big heart. If anything, her movie made me love her even MORE. You end feeling happy and sad for her, and you'll fin yourself laughing and singing along I was a fan and I liked her music before, but I love her and her music even more. For those who are already KP fans will love this, but if you weren't before, I guarantee you'll gain AT LEAST a new respect for her. Behind that pretty face which everyone thinks that is all she is, is a very hard working, inspiring woman who cares a lot about her fans and gives them the whole exclusive diary of her whole life. I recommend her movie to everyone, from child to adult. Most pop stars wouldn't include such private content, including their divorce, and many more. Compared to Justin Bieber's movie, which shows his tour and his old life and makes him look like the most perfect person in the world, she talks about the hardships and mistakes she has made in her life, which makes you realize, even though she says this multiple times in the movie, you don't have to be perfect to achieve your dream/goal, as long as you believe in yourself and work hard. I would rate it a 12 out of 10
