01/30/2008 Oscar nominated "Katyn" [img]http://www.movieposterdb.com/posters/09_11/2007/879843/l_879843_572a8b73.jpg[/img] It's a solid film based on tragic polish history, however it lacks of emotional touch (which is weird 'cause the whole theme is very personal to the director - Wajda's father was among the soldiers that died in Katyn). Still - great cinematography, good acting and the terrifying, shocking ending makes it a must-see for any fans of historical dramas out there. 7/10 See more Read all reviews
