I think the title should come with an extra line "Short and Bitter." I won't lie, Kevin Hart's stand up was hilariously, seriously funny. I love a good standup every now and then, but is it me, or do black male comedians seem to hate black women? There is almost always a segment in their standup dedicated to going on and on about how miserable we are and how simple and victimized the brothers are. I used to think Kevin Hart was different. That he was a happy comedian. But a good chunk of his routine was about him griping about things he hated about women. In fact, some parts even sounded like something stolen from a recent Chris Rock routine. Now obviously not all black comedians do this, Kat Williams comes to mind, but it seems like the overwhelmingly majority love this topic. I enjoyed "Seriously Funny" but there were many parts that left me feeling like Mr. Hart is seriously bitter.
