Movie Info

The family of the elderly, rich-as-sin Don Mariano (Federico Luppi) are eagerly waiting for him to die. He's sickly and has taken to his bed. However, his loyal manservant (Emilio Bardi) takes it upon himself to find a cure for his boss's anomie. He brings his luscious stepsister (Ines Estevez) into the household. She then woos the old man (in every sense) back to life, much to the distress of his family, which then concocts a series of strategems to bring an end to this state of affairs. The film's ending has both sides in this "dispute" winning - and losing. ~ Clarke Fountain, Rovi
