Moovie feels like a lot of bad taste mixed with elements that average cinema school student likes about Tarantino. Lerner tried to put serious things in the movie. Contemporary Israeli identity on the background of decaying Tel-Aviv, humanism, women in the cinema. It's interesting to try and understand what exactly he wanted to say, but the "Hollywood" formula (stars, shoot-outs, and "epic" inserts) just not compatible with Israeli cinema. 6\10

Too violent and dark to be considered a light entertainment, and not deep enough to pass as significant art. But it is directed with much talent and has its moments.
