A really good movie re a cat and mouse chase. A kid is left alone at his grandpa's house out in the boonies, where the only other person is the next door neighbour. After his grandpa suddenly dies in the middle of the night, he realizes he's now all alone with a dead cellphone (no phone at the house). He goes to the neighbours for help, but he quickly realizes the man is not who he appears to be. Hence the cat and mouse ensues, culminating in a grand reveal before the kid survives and the man is dead. The acting was good namely from the kid. I felt the antagonist could've been better. Its a nice suspense thriller thats exciting and the cinematography and direction are both great.

Home Alone: Black edition .. script is really weak and the bad guy loses the built up charisma with his stupidity once the chase begins. +1 for Ironside.

Terrible acting, terrible plot. Not sure how this has high scores. So bad!

The only redeemable qualities of Knuckleball are the cinematography and Michael Ironside's performance.

The plot has been done a million times over, and there's nothing new or fresh here to make it worth a viewing. It's almost as if the idea of baseball was oddly worked into the story so that the film could have a title.

Michael Peterson really backed himself into a corner by pairing a child protagonist with an invincible villain, which results in an uninteresting game of cat and mouse with no realistic consequences.

The performances of literally everyone besides Ironside leave much to be desired, ranging from mediocre to ridiculously terrible.

Not much else to say, really. With a short run time of an hour and a half, at least Knuckleball moved at a decent pace and was over quickly.

Almost perfect except the predictable relationship of the weirdo and the ending.

I saw this at a one night screening in Calgary while it was on the festival circuit. I loved every minute of this exceptional film. The acting from all of the leads is top notch work. Wonderful to see Mr. Ironside in another fine performance. The setting, pace and script work perfectly. This is an gripping thriller that everyone should see!
