The filmmakers are lazy and love to loll around in a good blood bath now and then. They find this somehow regenerative, rather than just plain degenerative.
It's not a masterpiece, but it has its merits.
All involved could do better. An interesting curiosity only for diehard Milla Jovovich fans.
Forgettable except for San Francisco and the cute girl.
I really liked this movie, mostly because I'm a big Christian Slater fan, and he's plays both cute and tough in this movie. At times this movie is more of a comedy and at other times it's a crime drama, it goes back and forth. I liked it anyway, it's just a good movie for Slater, and if you're a fan of his, you wont want to miss this one.
A crazy little 90's movie that covers every possible way to depict the cop genre. The on-screen narration is somewhat fitting and the extreme violence in the face of comedy seems to work as well. I swear, some of the sound effects and devices could have only been used at the time. I love Christian Slater's performance and it's one of the main reasons I can accept and love the movie rather than find it weird. By today's standards this is just bizarre and crazy, but there was a time when this was considered normal.
great, when christian slater was at his best
Teen flick. Funny, action packed and romantic. I feel old, I have this on VHS!
