L' Amore Primitivo (Primitive Love) (1964)

Movie Info

Mansfield is an anthropologist who has made a film on the subject of the universal primitiveness of love, but one professor to whom she shows it in Rome is left unconvinced. She performs a striptease for him and a couple of hotel porters who followed her to her room. Her routine changes their minds and wins them over. Filmed all over the world, from Paris to Tokyo, from Rome to the South Sea Islands, this is one of many low-budget films Mansfield and her second husband, Hargitay, made in Europe after her US career went into into a steep decline.

Audience Reviews for L' Amore Primitivo (Primitive Love)

This is worth seeing for one reason alone - Jayne Mansfield! She does an incredibly sexy striptease at the end of the film! The rest of the movie consists of National Geographic style footage and the antics of two annoying, not funny Italian comedians. I sat through this movie once, but now I just fast forward to Jayne's scenes.
