Two old retired men go to Iceland to get their mojo back. Kind of boring and disappointing. This would make a good viagra commercial though.
I didn't like one of the 2 main characters. A travelogue of Iceland turned out to be far more entertaining and informative than this.
It was tough getting to the end of this movie. It's one of those movies that you can't help but think that it is going to get better, so you keep watching then it comes to the end and you had wished you turned it off sooner. Very boring movie and not much amusement.
These guys were so charming.
Not sure if I enjoyed or hated this film. The most irritating cringeworthy American actor ever on a background of beautiful scenery and an otherwise pleasant film
Agewise? This movie is starting to feel applicable.
Pardon me, but I didn't find any special merit in this movie. It looked more like a documentary meant to promote Icelandic tourism in wake of hard blow of global recession to the island country !
Well delievered dialogues superposed on scenic landscape seems to be the only USP of this film.
Appreciate the indie effort though. I wish Indian tourism too takes a leaf out of this concept...
What a load of shite! Lol
I almost feel bad about giving it a 6 out of 10, but i'm afraid i can't give it a "good"-7 rating. There's a sincerity about the film, and i think the themes are important, but everything seems a bit skimmed over. It's not often that i'll wish there was more exposition, but i'd have liked to know more about these characters, more of their history, more of an emotional connection to their stories. The supporting characters were thinly drawn. In the absence of a deeper drama, the sparseness of the humour stood out. Worth a watch, i guess, but these characters deserved a stronger film.
Grumpy Old Men go to Iceland
A complete nonevent. The old fogeys perving on everyone was disgusting. Not funny at all. No idea what critics were smoking here.
