Movie Info

Billy Zane stars in this action-adventure story as Michael Sanger, an expert racecar driver with a passion to do something out of the ordinary. Sanger and his crew have designed a special rocket-powered car, and their goal is for Sanger to become the first man to break the sound barrier on dry land. A 50-million-dollar purse is being offered to the first person who can crack Mach 2, so Sanger is not alone in his quest. With several top drivers aiming toward the same goal, does Sanger have what it takes to prevail? Landspeed also features Ray Wise, Scott Wiper, and Pam Gidley.

This is quite simply the worst movie I have ever seen. Nothing about it makes it worthy of anyone's time. I have personally demanded

I'll have to say that this film, pretty much destroyed Zane's notoriety as a legitimate actor, this film was horrible to begin with. This demonstrated that this was riffing off the Fast and the Furious franchise, only the difference between this film , is that they attempt to touch into the science fiction genre, which was very pathetic on their part. The editing was too rigid, and the plot of the story meandered on too many times. In the end, this film was a career-ender for Billy Zane, as far as to return to the silver screen anytime soon.

Is it possible to like a movie just for one line? Michael (Billy Zane): First of all, we're not a club; we're a gang.
