grey g @greygalah 02/01/2022 For lovers of art and Leonardo only. The documentary travels the world and shows in detail the paintings with impressively educated but simple explanations from experts. It lacks however a critical eye and this is evident in the rather vague explanations on the Savior of the World, a painting sealed in a vault whose authenticity is strongly disputed. This is why the "expert" that speaks at this point is an art dealer. Generally, the choir music and singing accompanying images of, as expected, the religious themed paintings is tiresome and does nothing to elevate the tone. I would have preferred hearing about the lost works, of which there are many. Still for the first 1:25 and final 9 minutes, it was worthwhile.
