Audience Reviews for Like It Is

In bleak Northern England -- Blackpool, to be exact -- Craig (Steve Bell), a latent homosexual, makes his living fighting illegal bare-knuckle bouts. When the boxer falls for a record producer named Matt (Ian Rose), who's in Blackpool promoting a singer, he soon finds his world turned upside down. Craig follows Matt back to London, but things get sticky when Matt's duplicitous boss (Roger Daltrey) tries to split up the couple.

The story is fine, but I just found it hard to get into. The characters just didn?t interest me that much, I really felt indifferent to them. For me a movie is much better if you care what happens to the characters. The performances are good though.
