Movie Info

The year is 1973. Sonia traveling with her two children from Trinidad, where her husband is stationed in the oil industry. There she meets a homeless class of men that have working worldwide -and their wives who follow them wherever their contracts saying they should go. On the surface, live these women in luxury in big houses and servants. The days are uneventful and blend together for an everlasting holiday, where women used their superficial relationship with cocktails in hand, along the pool - the perfect climate for self-deception.

A good film that takes place in a small Alaskin village. This character study starring Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and David Srathairn shows a relationship between both a singer and a fisherman. What is lovely is that nothing is glamorized it is just examines a godo story between everyday people...well done film.

Hey! Why are they using the cover for the superior John Sayles film from 1999?
