Movie Info

In this lively musical comedy, Martin and Lewis raise Caine with the original plot of the 1937 Carole Lombard vehicle Nothing Sacred. The fun begins when a small-town station master Lewis is accidentally exposed to radiation and told he has only a short term to live by doctor Martin. As small compensation, Lewis, accompanied by Martin, are given an all-expense paid trip to the Big Apple by a reporter wanting to write a story about Lewis. Things get rather sticky though when Martin realizes he made a mistake and that Lewis is going to live. Songs include: "That's What I Like," "Money Burns a Hole in My Pocket" and "How Do You Speak to an Angel?"more

Audience Reviews for Living It Up

For those who can tolerate Jerry Lewis? whiny and irritating characterizations better than myself will likely enjoy this film. It is an inferior remake of ?Nothing Sacred?, but it does have it?s good moments. The supporting cast outshines the stars, Dean Martin gets to sing a couple of catchy tunes. Light and usually entertaining.
