On October 16, 1995 Minister Louis Farrakhan supported by Black American leaders nationwide implemented a national -Day Of Atonement- On that day a meeting was held in Washington, D.C. order to facilitate African American men coming together to put an end to Black male bashing by the American media, end genocidal conditions existing in Black communities nationwide and to atone before God. The result was the creation of one of the greatest phenomenas to happen in the 21st century.
