This is a 'bridge' short to explain where Dom and Letty have been along with Hun and him knowing Dom. It also shows how he knows other characters that appear in the future.

An interesting back-story previous to the events of Fast & Furious.

I own this as a bonus feature on the Blu-Ray of: * Fast & Furious (2009)

Wasn't up to expectations for story line.

Los Bandoleros (2009) This isn't really a true movie, but it's a short that was included in the extras section of the BlueRay version of the "Fast and Furious" DVD. Not many know that Vin Diesel has dabbled in screen writing and film making himself and this gave him an opportunity to put something together while he was hanging out in the Dominican Republic where the beginning of Fast and Furious was filmed. I guess that it is sort of meant as a back-story, where Dominic Toretto (Diesel) is in hiding before his crew starts showing up for the infamous triple trailer gas tanker heist. We are familiarized with the people of the Dominican Republic. It surprisingly has more detail about Han Lu (Sung Kang) about how they met. It also has some more about the latin characters who are part of the gang, who just sort of show up in this movie and the next. There's some great scenes where Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) shows up and her and Dom get reacquainted.

A short little 15 minute movie setting up "Fast and Furious 4." Features Dom in the Dominican Repulic, with Han and Letty. Nothing really happens, not really sure why they may it. Ladies(or gay guys) if ya wanna see Vin Diesel with no shirt, then check it out. Other than that, kinda pointless really.

This takes place before "Fast & Furious", when Dominic is gathering his crew and hiding out in Dominican Republic. A bit hard to follow at places: there is a mix of languages, and even with subtitles, the accented English makes it hard to keep up. Besides that, characters keep appearing, some familiar, some less so. There are familiar faces, though: Dom, Letty and Han to name a few. While nothing really important happened, it was nice to see some extra stuff with them and hear a few witty lines (Letty and the skanks are always amusing). Also worked to tie a few loose ends - or rather, beginnings, seeing as this prepares for the events of "Fast & Furious".

a perfect short film to bridge between the first and the fourth part of the fast and the furious series. Dom is the best ;-)
