Petros T @PetrosTserpelis 10/22/2024 After over 20 years of stand-up, 2007 finds C.K. releasing his very first special, and it's great. That must be what two decades of experience do. This isn't formative stuff; it's him at his best, his on-stage persona as we know it from later specials already formed, and his delivery and rhythm as flawless as ever. He tackles some pretty risqué material, and the way he manages to keep it from getting off the rails and becoming tasteless is masterful. It's a thin line and he knows how to walk it. I think he has very bold and hilarious jokes and this is no exception. Sometimes he does have a tendency to go maybe a bit too far, but there's no denying that it's very funny.
