At its core, Love Me is a beautiful mess of a movie that uses a wild, "what-if" sci-fi premise to tell a very grounded story about how hard it is to actually be with someone. Steven Yeun and Kristen Stewart bring so much heart to these two AI entities, "Iam" and "Me," who spend eons bickering and mimicking human tropes just to figure out how to connect. It perfectly captures that cycle of driving each other crazy, falling apart, and then inevitably building something better from the wreckage. Even as their metal frames eventually give out, the film hits you with the idea that love doesn't need to last forever to be real. In those final moments, they find a way to be perfectly imperfect together, creating a tiny, fleeting eternity that feels more human than any programmed code.

Kristen Stewart and Steven Yeun are both excellent in #LoveMe, with a chemistry that transcends even their robotic forms as a satellite and a buoy. As a film its refreshingly original in its ideas and style, even when its script is a little lacking.
