Someone will make a film that will give Madhuri, ripe for a role in which she can play to her strengths, her due. Sadly, Maa Behen is not that film. Go to Full Review

Maa Behen makes you laugh, and it makes you squirm. It’s uncomfortable, messy and flawed just like the women that society could never fathom. Go to Full Review

Prapti R @RT06782920 19h Just watched Maa Behen and I absolutely loved it! What a refreshing, entertaining, and emotional ride. The film beautifully blends comedy, suspense, and strong emotions, keeping the audience engaged from start to finish. The performances have been widely praised, especially Madhuri Dixit’s portrayal of Rekha, which many viewers consider one of the highlights of the film. As a lifelong fan of Madhuri Dixit, I am incredibly proud of her. She once again proves why she is one of the finest actresses in Indian cinema. Her screen presence, expressions, comic timing, and emotional depth are simply unmatched. Every scene featuring her feels effortless yet powerful. Thank you, Madhuri Ma’am, for continuing to inspire us with your talent and dedication. Watching you shine in a role like this is a joy for every fan. Wishing Maa Behen tremendous success and many more memorable projects ahead. Much love and admiration always. ❤️ See more Mirza M @mirzabaig890 1d 'Maa Behen' is a riotous crime comedy that blends absurd humor with sharp social satire, leaving you entertained and unexpectedly provoked. See more Akriti S @RT57936512 1d Maa Behen is a sharp, thought-provoking satire that shines a light on the deep-rooted patriarchy that still exists in our society. Through humor, wit, and uncomfortable truths, the film challenges the way women are constantly judged—whether it’s for the clothes they wear, their relationship status, their life choices, or simply for refusing to conform to traditional expectations. The movie does an excellent job of exposing the double standards that women face every day. I find it surprising that some people dismiss this movie as "crap." In many ways, that reaction reinforces the very attitudes the film is critiquing. Maa Behen isn’t meant to be a mindless comedy—it’s a satire that challenges deeply ingrained beliefs and social norms. If someone walks away only seeing the surface-level humor and misses the commentary on sexism, judgment, and gender expectations, they may have missed the point the filmmakers were trying to make. A smart, bold, and much-needed movie. See more Sharang L @Scribe187 3d Under the farcical garb, this is one angry film. Kudos to Triveni for taking societal misogyny head-on though thinly-veiled humour. Dimri and the other girl are great, Madhuri not so much. See more Garima G @RT06886212 4d This film does a great job of showing how women are often misunderstood and boxed into stories that men create about them. It highlights the huge gap between how men think they understand women and what women actually experience, showing how these misconceptions shape the way society views and judges them. By moving away from the typical male gaze, the film gives women more depth, agency, and space to tell their own stories By shifting the perspective away from the male gaze, the story portrays and celebrates women wittiness and bravery . love it sm!! a must watch See more J J @RT54021238 4d Maa Behen What sounds like a cuss word turns out to be one of the sharpest satires on womanhood. Beneath the laughs lies a biting commentary on how society sees women. See more Read all reviews
