This is one of those films that are okay but not as good as thought it was not bad but just very slow passed and nothing really that exciting or fun but like I said not bad just not that great
One of the best sequels from the 80s. This is still a great movie to watch till this day.
Gorgeous 😍💕❤️. loved it baby
The story is not so good, but the action is great.
Nothing less than a great high speed, lota action film with a lot of violence that is not just mindless blood & gore. (Hence, blood & gore fans like not find this to there liking) This is a low budget film but it produces everything that makes it great: Constant action, the ultimate bad guy, who's really a good guy, who is cool, fearless, and capable. This could be Australia's answer to James Bond. There is no (I don't remember any, anyway...) vulgarity and if not for the the rape/murder & the tent lovers nudity scenes this would be a somewhat family friendly post-apocalyptic movie about the good verses evil of a broken society. There is no CGI and the chase, wreck, and battle scenes were real acting, real special effects, and real sets built by creative men, not just a software update. Some redeeming qualities of honor, commitment, & personal struggles. Mel is just great in this 2nd edition of Mad Max.
There's not much of a story here, but that could be interpreted as the film's simplified take on the base nature of survival in the wastes (though, I'd suspect that's giving too much credit to the writers). What is here is a thoroughly engrossing action film whose practical effects still deliver the thrills.
This honestly deserves more between three and a half and four stars. It's superior to the first film. The dialogue is actually limited, but the film benefits from a lot of amazing action stunts and sequences, a bit of grisly gore, tight execution, a fast pace and another iconic performance by the young Mel Gibson as the all Australian, sawed off shotgun wielding hero. The filming of the large desert landscapes can also eye candy. This sequel is a another good insight on human greed, and it's a shame that the 2015 reboot was such a bad disappointment. Overall, this is an entertaining movie and especially a must-see for action fans. Good flick and recommended!!
Best post-apocalyptic movie ever!!!!!!!!!!
Mad Max 2 is not that much better than its predecessor. It clearly benefited from a much bigger budget, leading to a more epic scale and much greater technical aspects, but it also has fewer smaller scenes, and it lacks any semblance of plot to it as it consists of endless, frenetic action. That action, though, is superbly executed and mostly a lot of fun, the villains are excellent and the costumes and landscapes are both terrific.
I really like the fact that this movie is apocalyptic and that everything's about survival. Great movie
