This movie isn’t simply about the power and impact the movies have on certain individuals, it is also about dreams, and how you are never too old to chase them. Go to Full Review

Danielle R @DanielleRufrano 9h Magic Hour is a delightful ride for anyone who has ever felt held back by their own inner critic. The film beautifully illustrates that the 'good gal' doesn’t have to finish last or resort to ruthlessness to succeed. All characters were emotionally nuanced in a way that felt rich and layered and real. Watching the main character transform her internal battle into self-kindness was incredibly empowering. It’s a must-watch for the big dreamers who need a reminder that their inner critic is just a coward trying to keep them from their own worth. It is deeply meaningful to anybody who's ever wrestled with a drive to be an artist, or the disappointment of facing a life without achieving a dream. Miriam Shor is a revelation playing every possible emotion with sincerity and patience. Jacqueline Christy has tapped into a mother lode of experience and I am in awe. I want everybody I know and love to see this, and I want to watch it with them. See more Read all reviews
